BYB: Before You Book Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party

If Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is on your Disney bucket list, here's the most important thing to know BYB: don't wait to buy your party tickets. Every year, my clients assume they'll have plenty of time to decide, only to find that the most popular dates have already sold out. And every year I’m getting messages asking me if I have a “hook up” to get tickets for sold out party dates. My main “hook up” is telling you to book them in advance! Like- as soon as you know you’re going to travel during that time, let me help you GET THEM!

COMMON QUESTION #1

Which dates book fastest? Dates closer to Halloween, weekend dates, and those around any school breaks. This party starts in August and runs through October so, while there are a lot of dates to choose from, if you have a stricter schedule, you’ll want to grab them now.

COMMON QUESTION #2

Do you need a park ticket AND a Halloween Party ticket? NO! Unless you want to be able to go into Magic Kingdom for the entire day, you only need a Halloween Party ticket. This grants you entry at 4:00 PM and regular park guests have to start leaving at 6PM. This also means, if you’re traveling during this time and NOT going to the party, plan your Magic Kingdom day for a day the party isn’t going on or you’ll have to leave early.

The bottom line? If you're even considering Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, purchase your tickets as soon as your travel dates are set. It's one of Disney's most popular seasonal events for a reason (I like it even more than the Christmas Party), and waiting often means paying more, settling for a less desirable date, or missing out altogether. Plus as soon as you book with me I’ll send you my Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Guide to make sure you’re fully prepared.

Have you been to the Halloween Party before? Which do you prefer? Halloween or Christmas at Disney?
